In what turned out to be a very one-sided Volleyball Nations League match, Japan dominated Croatia, ending the game with a staggering score of 3:0 (25:17, 25:19, 25:20).
Japan’s display of power and skill was comprehensive, launching 45 successful attacks, mounting 7 blocks, and serving up 4 aces. Among the standouts was Sarina Koga, who contributed 18 points to the team’s tally and was named the MVP of the match.
Despite their best efforts, Croatia still struggled to find their footing in the VNL, managing to score only 29 of their attacks while still maintaining some great reception numbers.
This dominant victory elevates Japan to the second position in the Volleyball Nations League standings. The triumphant team will take on Bulgaria on June 3rd.
