Spain Stuns Host Bulgaria in Varna

Spain started their CEV EuroVolley 2023 Men campaign on a high note with a thrilling 3-1 (25-17, 25-21, 21-25, 25-19) victory over Bulgaria in the opening match for Group B. The Spaniards showcased their prowess on the court with a solid all-round performance in attack, block, and serve, which was key to overcoming a resilient Bulgarian side.

In a match that was closely contested from start to finish, Spain managed to get the upper hand in the crucial moments, winning the first, second, and fourth sets. Despite a spirited fightback from Bulgaria in the third set, Spain regrouped and closed out the match with a dominant display in the fourth set.
