In a thrilling five-set match at the 2023 Volleyball Nations League, Brazil emerged victorious against Serbia, winning by 3 sets to 2. The set scores were 23:25, 25:22, 21:25, 25:12, 15:11, marking a hard-fought victory for the Brazilian team.
Both sides displayed commendable team performances, with Brazil making 54 successful attacks, 18 blocks, 2 serve aces, and an impressive 103 digs. Serbia put up a strong fight with 58 attacks, 13 blocks, 4 serve aces, and 107 digs. The intense game showcased both teams’ defensive and offensive skills, but Brazil’s superior blocking and tactical strategy proved decisive.
For Brazil, the star player of the match was undoubtedly Thaisa, whose performance was stellar. Thaisa managed 18 points in total, with 8 attacks, a remarkable 9 in block , and 1 serve point. Kisy Nascimento also contributed significantly with 16, including 13 attack points and 3 block points.
