In a thrilling contest that kept fans on edge, the China women’s team edged out the Brazilians in the latest match of the Volleyball Nations League.
The match, which took place in Nagoya, Japan, was close from the very start with both teams trading blows in the sets. Brazil and China performed exceptionally well, despite missing some of their star players. China eventually prevailed, securing the game with a final score of 3:2 (25:23, 22:25, 25:20, 20:25, 15:12).
When it comes to statistics, both teams performed admirably, so in the end it was just a matter of psyche in the end of the fifth set. China showed their prowess and forced the Brazilian team to make 3 unforced errors in a row.
This victory places China in fifth place as their win gives them 2 points in the Volleyball Nations League standings. Looking forward, China will face Germany on 2nd June.
