In a dramatic back-and-forth duel, Dominican Republic emerged victorious against the Bulgaria in a heart-stopping five-set clash at the Volleyball Nations League. The final score was 2:3 (25:22, 16:25, 25,16, 25:14, )
Both teams were trading blows in the first 4 sets of the game. The Dominican republic had more successful attacks, but making more errors in return.
As the match moved into the decisive fifth set, both teams were under pressure, each vying for the much-needed victory. Dominican republic stepped up, led by Elizabeth Martinez who was unwavering in her attacks.
With this win Dominican republic are preparing to face the Netherlands on June 2nd.
